About us

Taryaq is an urdu language word which means "Aab e Hayat i.e life saving drug specially against pison" . Taryaq Welfare Organization based in Lahore-Pakistan is a non-political, non-government, non-profit organization established in early 2009 . It was a self financed initiative taken by a group of volunteers with an aim to “Help the helpless”

Taryaq has been focusing and implementing community driven innovative approaches to development. We strongly believe in community participation as a key factor in the development. Taryaq is strongly committed towards the well being of the communities surrounded by the widespread ignorance, poverty, multiple social backwardness, financial and educational problems. We believe in the uplift of communities through harnessing their own potentials .
