History

Taryaq Welfare Organisation was established in early 2009 with a mission to help the helpless. Three friends with professional background of engineering, IT and Capital Markets put their heads together to start Taryaq with a vision to play key role in the betterment of the society around us and lead by example.

Taryaq had very humble beginning of monthly support of 2-4 families with limited resources. The fund raising campaign was then shifted to family and close friends. During that time swat operation was declared and there was biggest migration of Asia’s history i.e 3 million people migrated from swat & malakand areas. Taryaq also decided to help these people in the cirisis. We prayed to set up a target of collection of Rs. 100,000 to help these IDPs but surprisingly this campaign ended with colleciton & distribution of 2.2 million Rs. in 3 months, which was encouraging milestone for Taryaq.

Similarly Taryaq started campaign for flood victims in August 2010 and was able to collect & distribute PKR 11.5 million by March 2011

Taryaq started with the following team

1. Zulfiqar Ali

Zulfiqar is Mechanical engineer by profession and working with multinational company in Lahore.

2. Amir Saeed Bhatti

Amir holds bachelors degree in computer sciences and is working as Branch manager in stock exchange company

3. Imtiaz Ahmed

Imtiaz is masters in computer sciences and running his own business in partnership.

Taryaq is committed to serve the humanity. We do not have any administration cost. We pay all admin costs from our own pockets. Our goal is to spend each and every penny of our donors directly to the deserving.
